  2. You need Google Analytics set up my friend. Then it will show you which page is being referred to by Stumbleupon. www.google.com/analytics
  3. I bought the Amazon Kindle Fire but I can't get it to connect to my computer. I don't see an option to enable USB debugging anywhere either.
  4. I just purchased a brand new $1100 desktop gaming computer. My new games, JC2, Mass Effect 2, CIV.. All run fine. The problem is when I load old games, like Diablo II, Warcraft II, and a few others. The games seem choppy and run horribly, yet my system is definitely powerful enough to run these at max settings. Any ideas?
  5. I have roughly 300 pictures on my iPod, and another few hundred on my iPhone. Some of these are screen shots of bank receipts, and some are just pictures that I've already backed up to my computer. How do I delete all of my photos/images at once? Like a bulk delete. I figure the process is the same on both the iPod, iPad, and iPhone... so someone has to know ow to do this. Also, I don't want to lose any of my other data, just the photos.
  6. Yes, definitely. Old computers are great for stuff like this. Though, give Linux Mint a try. If you are new to linux, Mint is slightly better.
  7. I just installed the Skype desktop application and it installed a Chrome extension without even asking me if it could. That really ticks me off. Is there anyway to block unscrupulous programs from installing plugins/extensions into your browser?
  8. Most of the time when you install an application, the application likes to automatically start when Windows boots. It does this by adding itself to a registry key. Here are a few of the startup registry keys: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnceHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunServicesHKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunHKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce Usually the program can be found in one of those key
  9. He's asking about Chromebook, which runs Chrome OS. Not Linux. Chrome OS cannot run any programs locally. However, Outlook Web Access might just be the right solution.
  10. Here is the hive mind review of all the games that went on sale: Day 1 *unorganized Day 2 *unorganized Day 3 The " + " sign indicates positive feedback, the " - " sign indicates negative feedback. Day 4 Day 5
  11. A sad day indeed, I miss drop.io already. I used to use it for conferencing in my business clients.
  12. I'm sure that it could be converted over using the Android SDK. You could also do it with the iOS (Apple) platform, but that costs $99 per year and is hard to do unless you have a Macbook. iPhone apps are written in Objective-C. Android apps are written in Java.

I lost my iPhone a few days ago and had it returned to me thanks to this app. Love it.
  14. I wish this was free, I hate dishing out $0.99 without trying it.
  15. Hehe, I got codes for those too. Probably the same.
  16. They really are out of town, Microsoft gives their employees a great deal of time off in December. But some of them are still around, the problem is it's usually temp employees or newbies. I did some digging and found that a lot of people are having trouble with the Outlook 2007 (PC) to Outlook 2011 (Mac) conversion. One solution suggests first converting your Outlook 2007 PST files to Outlook 2010, you can do this with a trial download of Office 2010. If that doesn't work, need to wait for an update. Mac Office 2011 still has a few bugs.

  19. Not to be a buzzkill or anything, but the deals this year suck. I've been tracking all of the big stores for this Friday, I hope cyber monday is better.
  20. Negotiations break down, things get crazy. Angry Birds announces a new version! 45 more levels, and additional birds to shoot at those pigs! Get it on the iPhone or Android app stores. (it's free on both, I think) [flash=640,480]
  21. This guy beat the entire game without moving, it plays it for you. What a piece of junk. [flash=600,475]
  22. Took a look here: http://www.groovypost.com/howto/microso ... eat-sheet/ According to the list of Outlook 2011 shortcut keys there isn't a quick way to add contacts using a shortcut key unless you are on the Contacts page.
  23. I've used iZarc - it's pretty groovy. It is open source and works great, but I still prefer 7zip or winrar just because they have more options.
