No, you shouldn't be getting CERT issues. You should first check with your email admin. And then, I would remove the mailbox from outlook and re-add it again. See if that fixes it.
  6. There are a few tools out there you can search for, however, in most cases, the data will be lost if the ZIP file is corrupted. WinZip has a KB article on how to repair a ZIP file. You might check it out: After installing WinZip, using the following commands: http://kb.winzip.com/kb/entry/126/
  7. I am new in groovy and I hope to solicit your feedback. I have a requirement to parse the content from the xml and generate new xml dynamically. Input: <Raw> <Param>fname=Hello&lname=World</Param> </Raw> Requirement: 1. Parse Param using & as identifier 2. Put parsed data to an array. e.g. array: [fanme=Hello, lname=World] 3. Loop into the array while creating an xml. Value element below, should be dynamically generated based on the array content. e.g <Info> <Value name=fname>Hello</Value> <Value name=lname>World</Value> </Info> 5. Return the result/generated xml document as a string. I hope you can help me on this case study.

    APPLE ID PROBLEMS

They have an option ForgotId to resolve such situation.
  9. I have figured out that actually, I was not using that properly in the Pipeline. I am stuck with another problem, copying files from Workspace on Windows def deployartifact() { echo "Deploy artifacts ..." stage('Deploy') { node { def sourceFilePath = 'outputs\\release\\file.tar' def destinationFilePath = '\\\\server.net\\d\$\\Share' echo "Sourcefilepath is ${sourceFilePath} and Destinationpath is ${destinationFilePath}" bat 'copy %WORKSPACE%\\${sourceFilePath} ${destinationFilePath}' } } } File is not getting copied because of the WORKSPACE, I tried env.WORKSPACE also. Thanks in advance
  10. Hi list, I am trying to use this script to copy a file from one directory to another def publish() { echo "Publish artifacts ..." String sourceFilePath = "%WORKSPACE%\\app\\build\\outputs\\newrelease.tar" String destinationFilePath = "\\app.xxx.net\\d\$\\Share" // bat 'copy ${sourceFilePath} ${destinationFilePath}' (new AntBuilder()).copy(file: sourceFilePath, tofile: destinationFilePath) } I am getting the following error even after approving from "in process script approvals" : org.jenkinsci.plugins.scriptsecurity.sandbox.RejectedAccessException: Scripts not permitted to use new groovy.util.AntBuilder at org.jenkinsci.plugins.scriptsecurity.sandbox.whitelists.StaticWhitelist.rejectNew(StaticWhitelist.java:184) at org.jenkinsci.plugins.scriptsecurity.sandbox.groovy.SandboxInterceptor.onNewInstance(SandboxInterceptor.java:148) def pipeline () { buildStage() pubish() } If I use bat 'copy ${sourceFilePath} ${destinationFilePath}' I am getting following error: org.jenkinsci.plugins.workflow.steps.MissingContextVariableException: Required context class hudson.FilePath is missing Thanks in advance

    Downgrade win 10 1803 to 1709

I have a 16 bit windows app that works absolutely fine on win 10, 1709. Since I upgraded to 1803, that app no longer works on it. The app is an old Delrina app called Perform. Perform is very important to me but I have not found any app that works as well to create and use forms. The closest app that does work is FORMDOCS. Formdocs will come close to converting Perfom files to Formdocs. The problem with Formdocs is that you have to run the Perform app first, then convert. In most cases, it is very hard to convert and eventually causes you to create a new file, which is not easy and efficient as the Perform app. As I said, Perform (16bit) runs perfectly on Windows 10, version 1709. Running compatibility mode on win 10 does not work for Perform, but DID work on version 1709, and very well. All I get now with 1803 is "can't run 16bit apps" and exits. Why? I can't even go back to installing version 1709. I thought this was an upgrade....to me, this is a downgrade. My business depends on this 16bit app called Perform.
  12. @Grab(group='org.codehaus.groovy.modules.http-builder', module='http-builder', version='0.7.1') import groovyx.net.http.HTTPBuilder We can a script where I need to Call HttPBuilder to make API call. used @Grab statement in my script but realized that my laptop security and network security does not allw me me to go Maven Central and download jar. So I used https://stackoverflow.com/questions/3601570/how-to-download-jars-from-maven-central-without-writing-any-pom-xml suggestion and managed to download jar. I renamed the downloaded file to Http-Buolder-0.7.1.jar and moved it to JAVA_HOME\lib folder. Still import statement fail. What am I doing wrong? My PC is Windows 7
  13. Steve: i contacted MSI and after trying some diagnostic tests it was determined that the MB needed to be replaced. Thanks for the follow up.

    self-introduction

Welcome to the site Theo. Hope to see you around!
  15. @tlpmap Did they replace your MB or are you still having issues? Although it says it will only work with Windows 8, sometimes the FLASH will still work... You might try it if you're dead in the water..
  16. Hi @JennyR - Nope. Nothing yet. I'm still waiting for MS to fix this. Will keep you updated here however if I find something.
  17. Hi, The mail app notification does not working as intended since SCU. Here are my observations. They work on freshly installed windows (when no drivers or any software is installed), but only for a short while, then after 2 or 3 restarts they dont work anymore. Mail app is added in notifications senders list and everywhere where its supposed to be added, yet it does not work. I have done extensive on many forums but no help. Thanks..

    Office 365 Home

I have Office 365 Home. I can't send email using the Outlook app because it tells me I have no certificate? My computer has Windows 10 Pro. Outlook is configured using Exchange. I have tried reconfiguring it but it will not let me change the settings. Do I need to purchase a certificate or how do I change the settings? I have always been able to send email till I installed Office 365 Home. Thanks! Any help will be appreciated. Dollythyme
  19. Did you ever find a solution for this? I am looking for one myself and QuickSteps don't appear to accomplish it either.

  21. Steve..... Thanks for the reply. I contacted MSI support and, after a lengthy conversation, was told that the motherboard needed to replaced. Also, went to the link you supplied and found that the download was to be used to flash the Motherboard when only using Win-8. I am running Win-10 Pro x64.

    MSIServer Not Running

Really depends which services you disabled/stopped. Most of the items I normally turn off are 3rd party tools and software packages which have no business running in the first place at startup. If I want them to run, I'll launch them. Take a screenshot of your services from Task Manager > Startup so we can see what you have Running vs. Disabled. Should be able to assist @harored .
  24. So.... that's not good @tlpmap First, I would start by unplugging everything from the computer except the monitor and keyboard. See if that helps. If not, goto the MSI website and download the latest Motherboard FIRMWARE and flash the board. If you're already running the latest bios, I would still flash it to see if that clears up the issue for you. Something is obviously wrong. Here's a link to the BIOS - https://us.msi.com/Motherboard/support/990FXA-GD80.html#down-bios

    Home Network Connectivity

Don't forget, you need to set permissions on both the SHARE and the FILES. Be sure you assigned proper rights in both places.
  26. I asked this question several months ago and tried several of the suggestions, but I still cannot enter the Bios. I have a custom built computer using a MSI motherboard (990FXA-GD80 with 24-GB mem running the latest version of Win-10 / 64). When tapping "delete" upon startup the message "Entering Setup" appears. The screen turns gray and that's it. Nothing happens. Unfortunately I have misplaced the MSI installation disk.

    MSIServer Not Running

Hi, After the recent Windows 10 update, I noticed that my laptop was running a bit slower than normal. I receive your GPost daily updates and noticed the following article: https://www.groovypost.com/howto/fix-slow-after-installing-windows-10-feature-update/ I followed the recommended steps to modify startup, when I did a restart, the laptop has really slowed down which leaves me to wonder if something needed to stay enabled? In the process of reviewing what services were running or stopped, I discovered one service with which I'm not sure if it should be running or stopped? Here is a snapshot of the MSIServer service in question: Thank you for your direction as to whether this service should run or if it's okay to be stopped. harored
