I have been trying on many sites for a Canon CanoScan D2400U scanner driver for Windows7.

I bought a new PC with Windows Home Premium 32bit but although my printer will work the scanner won't.

Several helproom sites have drawn a blank including Microsoft and Canon.

Im getting the idea that the driver for your CanoScan needs an extra driver for just the scanning option.

Thanks Beyondlife, I already lokked at that link, it shows NO result for Windows7, that's my problem, I've been using the scanner on XP but now have new computer with W7.

Is it a x86 or x64 system?

86 or 32bit Home Premium, I have the disc to change over to 64bit but kept it at 32 precisely to make it easier to find drivers.
