I was working on a file of EXCEL which I haven't saved as a stupid. I closed my laptop in order to transfer it from my home office to my work office...
Having my laptop restart from sleep mode...I have my EXCEL file in a recovered form.
By mistake I open it and then closed it without saving it...
Now I am trying to find it somewhere in temporal file...Could it be somewhere or I totally losted it???
There is also an Excel folder you can configure. With my install that path is: C:\Users\mrgroove\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Excel\
However I'm running Windows Server 2008 and Office 2007 (Excel 2007). To find your location do the following (outlook 2007)
Click the Office Button in Excel (Top left orb), Excel Options (Bottom Right of PopUp Menu), Save - From there you should see your AutoRecover paths.
Excel 2007 - Auto Recovery Folder
If it's not there you might be able to use an undelete program to undelete it. Or if your using VISTA, you might be able to use Previous Versions / Shadow Copy to grab a copy of it.
